Adding Product Training Materials
Within the RTBS Trade Manual Online (TMO) used by frontline accommodation and booking agency staff, is a Product Training page for each activity operator to which you can add product quizzes and upload operator videos to develop your agents’ product knowledge and assist in the sales process.
Videos
To get a video uploaded to the Product Training tab on an operator listing, email RTBS at help@whytewaters.com with the Video Source URL or the YouTube video ID.
The YouTube video ID is shown at the end of the URL of the video, and can also be found by clicking the ‘Share’ tab in the video. The video ID is the alphanumeric code shown after ‘http://youtu.be/’ in the share link provided.
Quizzes
Product Training quizzes can be added and maintained by the operator through the CRS.
To add a quiz, select Setup Your Business → Product Training.
The Product Training page will list any pre-loaded quizzes currently allocated to your product listing on the TMO.
If no quiz exists, or to create an additional one, enter a quiz name, description and click the plus symbol.
Once the quiz item has been created, click on the quiz name to add and edit questions and answers:
To enter question 1, type it into the ‘Add Question’ box and hit ‘Enter’ to submit.
Once the question has been created, an ‘Add Answer’ box will appear.
Add your first possible answer (NB: Not necessarily the correct answer) and hit ‘Enter’ to submit.
Add more possible answers, as required.
Once you are happy with the selection created, tick the correct answer(s) - ensure the question is worded clearly if you expect multiple answers to be selected by the quizzer.
Continue to add more questions and answers, as required, until the quiz is complete.
In the TMO, the completed quiz will look much like this:
Whenever a front desk user completes the quiz, they’ll be presented with their results; letting them know where they went wrong, and what the right answers are:
Front office managers can produce Training Reports through the TMO which show what Product Training tools have been used by their staff members, and similarly, operators can obtain reports through the CRS to see which of their Product Training materials have been viewed and/or completed by which agents.
To find this report, on the main navigation bar select ‘Reports’ followed by ‘Other Reports’ and finally ‘Training Report’:
The Training Report will default to show just the current day, but the parameters can be changed to vary or extend the date range being looked at. The Training Report shows which staff members have completed the Product Training, from which agency, when they did it, and the score they achieved:
The results can be filtered to only show results with certain words (for example, if you are interested in a specific agency), and the report can be printed, or exported to .csv or .pdf file by using the links shown above.

- How long have we been operating?
- What do guests need to bring with them on the tour?
- Are refreshments provided?
- What makes this such a great excursion? (Answers are the key selling points; its a silly question but it gets the point across!)
- Where is the main departure point?
- Is it suitable for people of all ages?
- What is the minimum/maximum number of people required?
