General Booking Form

Overview:
This knowledge document is a guide on the RTBS General Booking Form.
User Introduction
The RTBS General Booking Form is a new ticket booking form used by operators to enter direct activity bookings into the Central Reservation System.
The General Booking Form is available to all operators using RTBS Resources unless specifically made available for your account by the System Administrator.
Make a Booking

  1. Customer Details

To make a booking with the General Booking Form, go to Combined View General Booking.

Under Booking Detail, enter the customer info into fields as follows:

  • First Name: First name of the customer

  • Last Name: Last name of the customer

  • Phone: Phone number of the customer

  • Email: email id of the customer

  • Agent: select agent from the drop-down list

  • Notes: this field is used to store any additional info about the customer's booking

  1. Add Activities

Unlike the old booking form, you can select multiple activities to be booked in one booking ticket in the new General Booking Form.
To add activities to the booking, select the Experience (if relevant) from the Select Experience → Add Activity → Click on Add.

The latest availability and price types for the selected activity are displayed in the form. Select the desired time slot for the activity booking and the price units by entering into the Units column as displayed below.

The final part of the General Booking form allows the user to add any additional activities and capture payments for the booking.
