Activity Master Schedules and One-Off Trips

All activities must be assigned a schedule in order to be available for bookings.

Schedules can be configured to particular times, or they can be set as 'On Demand' if the activity has no determined departure schedule. However, we strongly recommend that any activity operator wanting to encourage live bookings (either from agents using the Trade Manual Online or through their website) uses set departure times whenever possible.

Master Schedules Vs One-Off Trips

Activity schedules can be created in two ways, either through creation of a Master Schedule or by adding a One-Off Trip.

Master Schedules can be used to generate a handful of departures, or up to hundreds or even thousands of trips in one go. They are typically used to set regular, recurring departure times for an activity.

One-Off Trips are used to add in individual extra trips such as charters. An extra benefit of schedules added in this way is that because they are standalone, they can later by edited or rescheduled to a different date or time, and any associated bookings can be automatically transferred onto the new departure.
